Are You Interested in Serving as a Trustee on the Lansing Public Library Board?

Lansing Public Library is looking for someone to fill a seat on the Library Board.

The board meets on the third Thursday of the month (no meeting in August and December) at 6:30 p.m. At times there may be a Committee of the Whole meeting at 6 p.m. immediately preceding the regular board meeting. You must be able to attend these scheduled meetings.

The person selected to fill this seat will serve until the next election for Library Board Trustees in April 2011.
Interested parties must be at least 18 years of age and a resident of Lansing, IL.

The Library Board requests that interested parties submit a letter expressing an interest in the position. Tell us something about yourself, your educational and employment background and why you would like to serve on the library board. Let us know what you think you would bring to the board and the library by your service on the board.
